What Is Included in the Trial
The free trial is a full-featured experience — there are no limitations on what you can do. You get 300 AI responses per location, the approval workflow, AI Insights, team collaboration, email notifications, and everything else that comes with a paid subscription. The only difference is that you have 7 days before billing begins.
Note
A credit card is required at signup to start your trial, but you will not be charged until the 7-day trial period ends. You can cancel anytime during the trial at no cost.
Day 1: Connect and Configure
- Connect your Google Business Profile during onboarding. This takes about 60 seconds.
- Select which locations you want to manage. Start with one or two if you are unsure.
- Set your AI preferences — choose a tone (professional, friendly, empathetic) and response length that match your brand.
- Add any custom instructions for specific star ratings. For example, you might want 1-star responses to always offer to make things right.
Days 2–5: Review AI Responses
As new reviews come in, ResponseIQ will generate AI responses automatically. Check your dashboard daily to review the drafts. Approve the ones you like, edit any that need a personal touch, and regenerate any that miss the mark. This is the best way to see how the AI adapts to your business.

Enable email notifications so you are alerted when new reviews arrive. This way you can review and approve responses on the go.
Days 5–7: Explore Insights and Decide
If you have received enough reviews (at least 10), check the AI Insights tab to see strengths, improvement areas, and quick wins based on your customer feedback. By day 7, you should have a clear picture of the time ResponseIQ saves you and the quality of responses it generates.
When your trial ends, your subscription begins automatically. If you decide ResponseIQ is not the right fit, simply cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Trial
- Start with your busiest location — the more reviews that come in during the trial, the better you can evaluate the AI quality.
- Try different tone settings to see which one best matches your brand voice.
- Use custom instructions to handle edge cases, like reviews that mention specific products or services.
- Invite a team member so you can see how the collaboration features work.
- Check the Insights tab after 10 or more reviews to see the AI analysis of your customer feedback.
